What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the definition of "Agreement" includes amendments. Specifically, the Franchise Agreement encompasses all exhibits, attachments, addenda, and any amendments or modifications made in writing and approved by all parties involved. It also includes any renewals made in accordance with the agreement.
This definition is important for prospective franchisees because it clarifies that any changes to the original agreement, if documented and approved, become an integral part of the binding contract. This ensures that both Beehive Homes and the franchisee are aligned on the current terms and conditions throughout the duration of the franchise relationship.
It is standard practice in franchising to allow for amendments to the original franchise agreement. This clause simply codifies that standard practice for Beehive Homes. Franchisees should pay close attention to any proposed amendments and seek legal counsel to fully understand their implications before agreeing to them. All amendments must be in writing and approved by both parties to be valid and enforceable.
