What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beehive Homes Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise fee for additional franchises is subject to change. Currently, franchisees in good standing who have all their franchised homes open and operating can acquire additional franchises by paying the then-current franchise fee, subject to Beehive Homes' approval. The current franchise fee for each additional franchise is $50,000, payable in full upon the execution of a franchise agreement for the additional franchise.
However, the FDD explicitly states that this current franchise fee of $50,000 is subject to change. This means that Beehive Homes retains the right to increase or decrease the fee for additional franchises at any time.
Furthermore, the document clarifies that Section 4.2 does not grant franchisees any guaranteed right to acquire additional franchises or to acquire them at the current fee. This implies that even if a franchisee is in good standing and willing to pay the stated fee, Beehive Homes can still deny the request for an additional franchise or alter the fee. Prospective franchisees should confirm the current fee and conditions for additional franchises before committing to expansion.
