What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee and their resident manager are required to attend and complete a mandatory training program no less than one week prior to the opening of their Beehive Home. This training program, which lasts up to three non-consecutive days, will be held at a location designated by Beehive Homes, potentially at their headquarters or another operational Beehive Home location.
Beehive Homes provides this training at no charge to the franchisee. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering the costs of lodging and meals for themselves, as well as the travel, lodging, and meal expenses for their resident manager and any other individuals they wish to have trained. During the training, franchisees and their resident managers receive instruction in home operations and management, along with hands-on experience in all phases of operations.
The training program is based on the Beehive Homes Policy and Procedure Manual and the Beehive Homes Owner/Operator Training Outline. Franchisees will receive a copy of these materials at the training program, unless they have been provided previously. The training sessions cover the basic elements necessary for operating a Beehive Home, ensuring that franchisees have a mutually acceptable base of knowledge of Beehive Homes operations and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of Home operations at the end of the training program.
