What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Beehive Homes arranges the transferee for a franchisee, the franchisee must pay Beehive Homes a nonrefundable commission equal to six percent (6%) of the gross transfer price, in addition to the transfer fee.

This means that if a Beehive Homes franchisee decides to sell their franchise and Beehive Homes assists in finding a buyer, the franchisee will be responsible for paying a commission to Beehive Homes. This commission is calculated as six percent of the total selling price of the franchise. It's important to note that this commission is in addition to any transfer fees that may be required for the transfer of the franchise.

This commission is nonrefundable, meaning that even if the transfer does not ultimately go through, the franchisee will still be responsible for paying the commission to Beehive Homes. This could be a significant expense for a franchisee who is looking to sell their franchise, so it is important to factor this cost into any decision to sell. The transfer fee itself is either $2,500.00 for certain Permitted Transfers or $15,000.00 for certain approved transfers.
