According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beehive Homes of America, Inc. licensed its franchise business to Beehive Homes Intermountain, Inc. in June 2000. This licensing was part of a reorganization of the franchise business. The license granted to Beehive Homes Intermountain, Inc. covered all of North America, except for the State of Utah and Clark County, Nevada.
This initial licensing agreement was later modified through mergers and further agreements. Specifically, Beehive Homes, Inc. discontinued offering franchises in March 2000, as did Beehive Homes of Idaho, Inc. Effective January 1, 2020, Bee Hives Homes, Inc. and Bee Hive Homes of Utah, Inc. were merged with and into Bee Hive Homes Intermountain, Inc., which then changed its name to Bee Hive Homes, Inc.
Currently, Bee Hive Homes, Inc. operates as the sole franchisor for Beehive Homes franchises, holding these rights through a license agreement with Beehive Homes of America, Inc. This means that while Beehive Homes of America, Inc. owns the service mark and rights to the system, Bee Hive Homes, Inc. is the entity that actually offers and sells franchises to new franchisees.
