What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beehive Homes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Exhibit J, also known as the Receipt, requires specific actions from the prospective franchisee. The franchisee must date and sign the copy of Exhibit J. After signing and dating, the franchisee is instructed to retain one copy for their personal records.

In addition to retaining a copy, the franchisee must also sign and date another copy of Exhibit J and return it to Beehive Homes. This dual requirement ensures that both the franchisee and Beehive Homes have a record of the franchisee's receipt of the FDD and its included exhibits.

This process is a standard practice in franchising, confirming that the franchisee received the FDD and acknowledges its contents. It also helps Beehive Homes document their compliance with disclosure requirements, which are mandated by federal and state franchise laws. Failing to properly document receipt of the FDD could expose Beehive Homes to legal liabilities.
