What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beef O Bradys Franchise Disclosure Document, the training fee for your third Family Sports Pub is $11,000. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid at least 90 days prior to the scheduled opening of the restaurant. The training fee covers the Beef's Operator Training Program and a Pre-Opening Visit.
The training fee structure is tiered, decreasing with each additional Beef O Bradys franchise you own. The fee is $18,000 for the first location, $13,000 for the second, $11,000 for the third, $8,000 for the fourth, and $7,000 for the fifth and all subsequent locations. This incentivizes franchisees to expand their operations with Beef O Bradys.
In addition to the training fee, franchisees are responsible for all travel, wages, and living expenses incurred by the two designated operators (Operating Partner and Operating Manager) and any optional third trainee during the initial 3-week training program. Additional training for more than the three included individuals is available for a fee of $1,000 per additional trainee, plus associated expenses. Franchisees must also cover a ServSafe certification fee of $125 per person for designated managers, bartenders, and other employees requiring food safety certification.
It is important to note that the training fee is separate from other fees such as the royalty fee, which is 5% of the Family Sports Pub's monthly Adjusted Gross Sales.
