What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beef O Bradys' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the training fee for your first Family Sports Pub is $18,000. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid at least 90 days prior to the scheduled opening. This fee is in consideration for Beef O Bradys providing its Beef's Operator Training Program and Pre-Opening Visit before the opening of your Family Sports Pub.
This training fee covers the initial training program for the Operating Partner and Operating Manager, as well as an optional third individual. Additional trainees can attend for a fee of $1,000 per person, plus travel, wages, and living expenses. The Two Designated Operators must also attend a 1-day Pre-Opening Visit.
In addition to the initial training fee, franchisees are responsible for all travel, wages, and living expenses incurred by the trainees during the 3-week training program. Franchisees must also ensure that all new employees are satisfactorily trained and certified, including food safety certification, at an approved training store at their own expense. Beef O Bradys may also require previously trained managers or employees to attend periodic refresher training courses.
Beef O Bradys also offers additional or refresher training programs for franchisees and their employees, with an additional training fee of $250 per day per corporate trainer, plus expenses. Franchisees are also responsible for providing meals to Beef O Bradys' training personnel during kitchen operation hours at no cost to the franchisor.
