What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beef O Bradys' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must furnish evidence of compliance with obligations within 30 days after the effective date of expiration of the Franchise Agreement or the Notification Date. This includes providing a copy of the bill of lading/shipping order for returned proprietary information, which must be shipped no later than the day of closing.
Additionally, if Beef O Bradys does not exercise its option to purchase the Family Sports Pub, the franchisee must provide a signed and notarized statement attesting to the quantity (dollar amount) of unredeemed gift certificates outstanding and a method for reimbursement to franchise members of the Beef O Bradys system for a period of one year from the date of store closing. Reimbursement must be guaranteed by funds held in escrow or affidavit.
These requirements are related to the termination or expiration of the franchise agreement. Failing to meet these deadlines could result in penalties or legal issues, so franchisees must adhere to the specified timeframes for submitting the required documentation and materials.
