What are the requirements for an operating partner for a Beef O Bradys Family Sports Pub?
Beef_O_Bradys Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You or your designee must devote full time, energy, and best efforts to the management and operation of the franchised business, and will have primary responsibility for your operations and responsibilities under the Franchise Agreement. If you will not be actively supervising and managing the Family Sports Pub, or if you are a business entity and the Family Sports Pub will not be managed and supervised by one of your principal owners who meets the requirements described in Item 15, you must recruit, hire and maintain an operating partner for the Family Sports Pub who meets the qualifications and conditions described in Item 15. We will provide our initial training program to you or your operating partner, and an operating manager of the Family Sports Pub. We may make available other training programs as are appropriate or requested. If you or your operating partner and your operating manager fail to attend or complete the initial training program to our satisfaction, we may terminate your Franchise Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beef O Bradys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee will not be actively supervising and managing the Family Sports Pub, or if the franchisee is a business entity and the Family Sports Pub will not be managed and supervised by one of its principal owners who meets the requirements described in Item 15, the franchisee must recruit, hire, and maintain an operating partner who meets the qualifications and conditions described in Item 15.
The operating partner will have primary responsibility for the operations and responsibilities under the Franchise Agreement. Beef O Bradys will provide its initial training program to either the franchisee or the operating partner, as well as to an operating manager of the Family Sports Pub. Additional training programs may be available as needed or requested.
Failure of the franchisee, the operating partner, or the operating manager to attend or complete the initial training program to Beef O Bradys's satisfaction may result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement. Item 15 of the FDD contains the specific requirements for the operating partner, which a prospective franchisee should carefully review to ensure they can meet these obligations.
