What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beef O Bradys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the document does not explicitly state whether Beef O Bradys will periodically furnish samples of advertising materials to franchisees at no cost. However, the FDD does mention that upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, the franchisee must deliver to Beef O Bradys, at the franchisee's own expense, all signs, sign-faces, sign cabinets, marketing materials, forms, and other materials containing any mark or otherwise identifying or relating to a Beef O Bradys Family Sports Pub.
Additionally, the Beef O Bradys FDD states that the franchisee must contribute to the Marketing Development Fund. The franchisee currently must contribute 2.3% of monthly Adjusted Gross Sales but may in the future be required to contribute 2.5% of monthly Adjusted Gross Sales. The Marketing Development Fund is a system-wide marketing and development fund that Beef O Bradys has established for such advertising, marketing, and public relations programs and materials they deem necessary or appropriate.
Because the FDD does not directly address the furnishing of advertising samples at no cost, a prospective franchisee should clarify with Beef O Bradys whether samples of advertising materials are provided without charge, and if not, what costs are associated with obtaining these materials. This information will help in understanding the overall marketing expenses and support provided by the franchisor.
