We currently have a franchise advisory council ("FAC") comprised of franchisees that advises us on advertising policies, menu, product development, purchasing, franchise sales, training, operations and other matters. Members of the FAC must submit an application for membership in the FAC, and are selected based on certain criteria, including having operated a Family Sports Pub for a minimum of 18 months and demonstrated compliance with all operational, food and safety standards and procedures. The FAC serves in an advisory capacity only.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beef O Bradys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees who want to be on the Franchise Advisory Council (FAC) must meet certain requirements. To be eligible, a franchisee must submit an application for membership. The selection criteria include having operated a Family Sports Pub for at least 18 months. Additionally, the franchisee must demonstrate compliance with all operational, food, and safety standards and procedures.
Meeting these requirements does not guarantee selection, as the franchisor ultimately decides who becomes a member of the FAC. The FAC serves only in an advisory capacity, meaning Beef O Bradys is not obligated to follow its advice.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that after operating a Beef O Bradys restaurant for a year and a half, and maintaining good standing with the brand's standards, they can apply to influence brand decisions. However, it's important to remember that membership is not guaranteed and the FAC's role is only advisory.
