What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beef O Bradys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you do not sign and deliver the Successor Agreement, which is the agreement to further develop the Development Area, to Beef O Bradys, it means you will not be able to enter into a successor area development agreement.
To be eligible for a Successor Agreement, you must meet several conditions. These include agreeing to develop the Development Area according to a mutually agreed-upon Development Schedule, not being in default of any agreements with Beef O Bradys, signing and delivering the Successor Agreement (which may have different fees and performance criteria), paying the required Development Fee, and signing a general release of claims against Beef O Bradys.
The Successor Agreement must be signed and delivered by both you and Beef O Bradys at least 30 days before the current agreement expires. This timeline is important for prospective franchisees to note, as failing to meet it will result in not being able to obtain a Successor Agreement.
