What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beef O Bradys Franchise Disclosure Document, in the event of a transfer of a Family Sports Pub, the transferee and their managerial employee, if different from the current manager, must complete the Beef O Bradys training program. The FDD does not specify who the transferee's managerial employee is, but it does state that one of the two designated operators of the transferee must be a managerial employee responsible for the Family Sports Pub's kitchen operations.
This implies that Beef O Bradys requires the transferee to have a designated managerial employee, especially one overseeing kitchen operations, to ensure the restaurant maintains operational standards. This requirement aims to protect the Beef O Bradys brand and maintain consistency across all franchise locations.
Prospective franchisees should clarify with Beef O Bradys during their due diligence process the specific criteria and qualifications expected for the transferee's managerial employee. Understanding these expectations will help ensure a smooth transition and compliance with Beef O Bradys's requirements for franchise transfers.
