What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beef O Bradys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Family Sports Pub will operate at a single, approved location. This location, referred to as the "Site," must meet Beef O Bradys's specific requirements for exterior and interior decor, furniture, logos, and equipment. The franchisee is obligated to operate the Family Sports Pub in accordance with the standards outlined in the Franchise Agreement and the Confidential Operating Manual.
This means that prospective franchisees do not have complete freedom in choosing a location or designing their restaurant. Beef O Bradys maintains control over the brand's image and customer experience by setting detailed specifications for the restaurant's appearance and layout. Franchisees must, therefore, work closely with Beef O Bradys to find a suitable site that meets these requirements and adhere to the brand's design standards during build-out and operation.
Furthermore, the FDD emphasizes the importance of compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. This includes obtaining and maintaining necessary food service licenses and licenses for selling alcohol. Franchisees must also adhere to laws regarding food and beverage handling, public health and safety, sanitation, and other regulations applicable to the restaurant business. Given the complexity of these regulations, Beef O Bradys advises franchisees to consult with an attorney to ensure full compliance.
