You agree to only use and display menus that have been prescribed or approved (except for prices) in advance by us.
You agree to sell all the food and beverage products that are included on the prescribed or approved menus, and no others.
You agree to strictly follow all of our recipes for all menu items as such recipes are specified from time to time in the Manuals or otherwise.
Any and all recipes or menu changes submitted by you for inclusion on the menus will become our property and you agree to sign all documents necessary to convey all rights and title, including all rights in such recipes to us.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beef O Bradys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must use only menus that Beef O Bradys has prescribed or approved in advance, with the exception of prices. Franchisees must also sell all food and beverage products included on the approved menus and no others.
This means a Beef O Bradys franchisee has very little flexibility in what they can offer to customers. They cannot introduce new items or change existing ones without prior approval from Beef O Bradys. This ensures consistency across all franchise locations, maintaining brand standards and customer expectations.
Furthermore, franchisees must strictly adhere to Beef O Bradys's recipes for all menu items as specified in the manuals or otherwise. Any recipes or menu changes submitted by the franchisee for inclusion on the menus become the property of Beef O Bradys, and the franchisee must sign all necessary documents to convey all rights and title to Beef O Bradys. This reinforces Beef O Bradys's control over the menu and recipes, preventing franchisees from independently altering the offerings.
