What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beef O Bradys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to purchase certain items from designated suppliers. Currently, Beef O Bradys franchisees must purchase all food products, pizza dough, wing sauces, and dressings from Sysco.
Beef O Bradys retains the right to add additional products and/or designated suppliers from whom franchisees are required to purchase. Notice of these changes may be provided through updates to the Confidential Operating Manual. This means that franchisees must remain aware of updates to the manual to ensure compliance with supplier requirements.
While franchisees can request approval for alternative suppliers, Beef O Bradys does not provide specific criteria used in considering these requests. The evaluation process can take 30 to 60 days or longer, and the franchisee or proposed supplier must cover the costs of inspection and testing, which can range from $50 to $3,000. This approval can also be revoked at any time with written notice, giving Beef O Bradys significant control over the supply chain.
