What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee chooses to hire a manager to oversee the daily operations of their franchise, that manager must agree in writing to assume responsibility for the on-site management and supervision of the Bee Organized business. This written agreement is referred to as an "Operating Manager" agreement.

In addition to the written agreement, the manager must also meet Bee Organized's minimum standards and criteria for managers and complete the initial training program. They are also required to sign confidentiality and non-competition agreements to protect Bee Organized's interests.

This requirement ensures that any manager running a Bee Organized franchise is fully committed to the role and understands their responsibilities. It also provides Bee Organized with a level of control over who is managing the franchise and ensures that the manager is bound by certain agreements to protect the brand's confidential information and competitive advantage. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as franchisors typically want to ensure that anyone managing a franchise location is properly trained and committed to following the brand's standards and procedures.
