What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bee Organized retains the right to supplement, modify, and update its operations manuals. Franchisees are obligated to operate their Bee Organized business in accordance with these manuals and all applicable laws and regulations. The operations manual, as of the issuance date of the document, consists of 116 pages, with the table of contents attached as an exhibit. The manual covers establishing, developing, marketing, and operating the franchised business.
This provision is standard in franchising, allowing Bee Organized to adapt its system to changing market conditions, new technologies, and evolving best practices. It ensures that all franchisees operate under a consistent set of guidelines that reflect the most current and effective methods. For a prospective franchisee, this means that the rules and procedures for running the business may change over time, and they must stay informed of these changes.
The franchisee is contractually obligated to adhere to these updates, so failure to comply could result in a breach of the franchise agreement. While the FDD mentions that Bee Organized may supplement and modify the operations manual, it does not specify how often these changes might occur or the method by which these changes will be communicated to the franchisee. It is important for a prospective franchisee to understand how Bee Organized communicates these changes and how much advance notice is given before changes go into effect.
Given this, it would be prudent for a prospective Bee Organized franchisee to inquire about the typical frequency and scope of manual updates, as well as the process for disseminating these changes to franchisees, to fully understand the potential impact on their business operations.
