Is Bee Organized required to provide assistance with hiring and training my employees?

According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bee Organized does not provide assistance with hiring and training franchisee employees. The FDD states that franchisees are directly responsible for the management and supervision of their employees. However, Bee Organized does require that franchisees ensure their employees wear and maintain proper uniforms with approved System branded apparel. Franchisees must also monitor and ensure that all System Supplies and Approved Services and Products are prepared, maintained, and served in accordance with the System standards and Manuals.

This means that while Bee Organized provides brand standards and may offer some guidance through manuals, the franchisee is fully in charge of finding, vetting, and developing their own team. This is a common arrangement in franchising, as it allows the franchisee to tailor their staffing to local market conditions and their specific business needs.

However, it also places the burden of HR responsibilities, including legal compliance and employee relations, squarely on the franchisee. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the time and resources required for these tasks. They may want to seek legal and HR advice to ensure they are well-prepared to manage their workforce effectively and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

While Bee Organized does not assist with general employee training, they do provide initial training for the franchisee or their Managing Owner, plus one designated manager. If a franchisee wants to send more than two individuals to the initial training, they will be charged an additional fee per person. The franchisee is also responsible for all travel expenses and employee wages related to attending the training.
