What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Bee Organized Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to seek approval from Bee Organized for suppliers. The FDD defines "System Supplies" as equipment and supplies designated by the franchisor as required for use in connection with the franchisee's Bee Organized business and the Approved Services and Products. These System Supplies can include branded, non-branded, and third-party branded items such as home organization solutions, products, supplies, software, technology systems, vehicles, materials, and uniforms. These are designated by Bee Organized in the Operations Manual or in writing, and can be modified or supplemented over time at the franchisor's discretion.
Bee Organized retains the right to make determinations about the System, including its components, modifications, and replacements, based on the franchisor's reasonable business judgment. This implies that while franchisees may propose alternative suppliers, the franchisor has the final say in approving them.
Therefore, a prospective Bee Organized franchisee should clarify the process and criteria for proposing and gaining approval for alternative suppliers. Understanding the flexibility, or lack thereof, in sourcing supplies is crucial for managing costs and maintaining operational efficiency.
