What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Trade Dress' is a component of the 'System'. The 'System' is defined as the method for operating Bee Organized Businesses. This includes approved services and products, system supplies, procedures, and systems designated by Bee Organized for the development, establishment, marketing, promotion, and operation of a Bee Organized Business.
Specifically, the 'Trade Dress' refers to the designs, images, marketing materials, packaging, and branding that Bee Organized authorizes and requires franchisees to use. This 'Trade Dress' can be revised and further developed by Bee Organized over time. As a component of the 'System', the 'Trade Dress' is a mandatory and controlled aspect of the Bee Organized franchise.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that the visual and branding elements of their Bee Organized business are not freely chosen but are dictated by Bee Organized. Franchisees must adhere to the 'Trade Dress' standards, which may evolve. This ensures brand consistency across all Bee Organized franchises but also limits the franchisee's autonomy in visual marketing and branding decisions. The franchisor maintains the right to modify and replace the 'Trade Dress' at their discretion.
