What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Annual System Conference is designed to facilitate networking among Bee Organized franchisees and provide general education. The franchisor determines whether the conference will occur in a particular year, as well as its dates, content, and location. The conference will not exceed three consecutive days per calendar year.
For a prospective Bee Organized franchisee, this means that attendance at the Annual System Conference is an opportunity to connect with other franchisees and learn more about the business. However, the franchisee is responsible for all costs associated with travel and attendance. The FDD also specifies an "Annual conference attendance fee" that the franchisee pays to the franchisor, which cannot exceed $1,000 per attendee per year.
It's important to note that the franchisor has the discretion to decide if the conference will be held in any given year. This means that franchisees should not assume that a conference will occur annually. The franchisor also controls the content and location of the conference, so franchisees have limited input into these aspects. Franchisees should factor in the potential costs of attending the conference, including the attendance fee and travel expenses, when budgeting for their franchise.
