What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the maximum Annual Conference Attendance Fee is $1,000 per attendee. While attendance is required, the franchisee is also responsible for all travel and lodging expenses associated with the conference. Bee Organized will not require attendance for more than five days during any calendar year. The then-current conference fee is $500 per attendee.
Franchisors in many industries hold annual conferences for training, networking, and updates on the brand's direction. These conferences are typically a mix of mandatory sessions and optional workshops. The fees charged can vary widely, with some franchisors covering the costs as part of the ongoing royalty fees, while others charge a separate attendance fee. The fact that Bee Organized charges a conference fee is not unusual, but prospective franchisees should factor this cost into their annual budget.
It is important to note that Bee Organized reserves the right to charge the Annual Conference Attendance Fee to those franchisees that do not attend. This policy incentivizes attendance and ensures that all franchisees receive the same information and training. Franchisees should consider the value of the conference in terms of networking opportunities, new skills learned, and updates on best practices when evaluating the cost. Franchisees should also inquire if there are opportunities to attend the conference virtually, which could reduce travel and lodging expenses.
