What items are included in the 'System Supplies' that Bee Organized franchisees are required to use?
Bee_Organized Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
We license a system (the "System") for the operation of a Bee Organized business (each, a "Franchised Business" or "Bee Organized Business") that provides home and business organization services, life transition and moving assistance, and related concierge services (the "Approved Services and Products"). The System also features and requires, as designated by us, your exclusive use of certain home organization solutions, products, supplies, software and technology systems, warranties, equipment, vehicles, unforms, and materials that we designate (the "System Supplies"). The System is identified by the Bee Organized trademark and such other trademarks, logos, and tradedress that we may designate, modify or adopt from time to time and as same may or may not be registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (collectively, the "Licensed Marks"). You must develop and operate your Bee Organized Business in conformity with the specifications, procedures, criteria, and requirements that we designate in our confidential operations manual and other proprietary manuals that we designate and as we may supplement and modify from time to time (collectively, the "Manuals"). From time to time, we may modify, add to or discontinue our designated Approved Services and Products, System Supplies, and/or our specifications, methods and procedures for the service, marketing and sale of Approved Services and Products. You may only offer and provide the Approved Services and Products on-site at client homes and client designated locations within your designated operating territory.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to use specific 'System Supplies' as designated by Bee Organized. These supplies include home organization solutions, products, supplies, software and technology systems, warranties, equipment, vehicles, uniforms, and materials. The FDD specifies that the franchisee's exclusive use of these designated items is a requirement of the Bee Organized System.
This requirement means that franchisees do not have the freedom to choose their own suppliers for these essential business components. Instead, they must adhere to Bee Organized's approved list, ensuring consistency and quality across all franchise locations. While this may limit a franchisee's autonomy, it also provides the benefit of leveraging Bee Organized's established relationships and potentially favorable pricing with selected vendors.
Bee Organized retains the right to modify, add to, or discontinue the designated 'Approved Services and Products' and 'System Supplies'. They can also change the specifications, methods, and procedures for the service, marketing, and sale of approved services and products. This allows Bee Organized to adapt to market changes and maintain brand standards, but it also means that franchisees must remain flexible and prepared to adjust their operations as directed by the franchisor.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the implications of being required to use specific 'System Supplies'. It is important to understand the reasons behind these requirements and to evaluate whether the benefits of consistency and brand control outweigh any potential limitations on purchasing flexibility. Further, franchisees should inquire about the process for suggesting or requesting alternative suppliers or products if they believe it could benefit their business.
