What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bee Organized Franchise Disclosure Document, the Confidentiality Agreement refers to the franchisee as the owner and operator of the Bee Organized business. The agreement is between the franchisee (referred to as "us", "our", or "we") and their employee or contractor (referred to as "you").
The sample Confidentiality Agreement is intended to protect Bee Organized's confidential information by ensuring that anyone working for a franchisee, such as an employee or independent contractor, agrees to keep sensitive business information private. This includes trade secrets, methods, client lists, and other data related to the Bee Organized business. Bee Organized Enterprises, LLC, the franchisor, is named as a third-party beneficiary of this agreement, even though they do not directly own or manage the franchisee's business.
It is important to note that Bee Organized advises franchisees to have the Confidentiality Agreement reviewed and approved by an independent local attorney before using it with an employee or contractor. This ensures that the agreement complies with local laws and adequately protects the franchisee's and franchisor's interests. The agreement clarifies that it is not an employment agreement but solely a confidentiality agreement related to the information and access provided in connection with the Bee Organized business.
