Initial Training

If this is your first Bee Organized Business, we will provide initial training for you or, if you are a Corporate Entity, your Managing Owner, plus one designated manager. Either you or your Managing Owner, plus your general manager, must successfully complete the initial training program to our satisfaction no later than 45 days prior to the scheduled opening of your Bee Organized Business. If more than two individuals attend initial training, you will be charged an additional fee per additional persons attending initial training. Although we provide you or, if you are a Corporate Entity, your Managing Owner, plus your general manager, with initial training at no additional fee or charge, you will be responsible for all travel expenses and employee wages related to your attendance and completion of training. (Franchise Agreement, Article 4). Currently, we provide our initial training program no less frequently than quarterly and on an as-needed basis.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if this is your first Bee Organized Business, the franchisor will provide initial training for you or, if you are a Corporate Entity, your Managing Owner, plus one designated manager. This training is provided at no additional fee or charge. However, the franchisee is responsible for all travel expenses and employee wages related to their attendance and completion of training. The initial training program takes place over an approximate three day period on site at Bee Organized's designated training facility in Overland Park, Kansas, and additional training will take place virtually as designated by them.

If more than two individuals attend initial training, the franchisee will be charged an additional fee per additional persons attending initial training. This means that while the core initial training is covered for the franchisee or managing owner and one manager, any extra staff sent to the training will incur additional costs.

After the opening of your Bee Organized Business, Bee Organized reserves the right to require that you (or your Managing Owner if you are a Corporate Entity) attend a system-wide training program (the "System-Wide Training Program") that they may establish in their discretion. If Bee Organized establishes a System-Wide Training Program, the program will be offered from their affiliate owned Bee Organized Business or certified training facility in Overland Park, Kansas and you will be responsible for all travel and expenses, lodging, food, automobile rental expenses, and employee wages that you incur in connection with your attendance. Bee Organized will not require your attendance at a System-Wide Training Program for more than a total of five days in any calendar year.

Additionally, if an Operating Manager needs to be replaced, Bee Organized will offer initial training to the replacement Operating Manager, which must be completed to their satisfaction. The franchisee is required to pay a supplemental training fee for replacement Operating Managers, which is currently $250 per manager per day for each replacement manager attending initial training. This fee, along with travel and wage expenses, makes ongoing training a potentially significant cost for franchisees to consider.
