What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, upon the transfer of the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee must immediately cease using Confidential Information. This means the franchisee can no longer use any of Bee Organized's trade secrets, methods, techniques, procedures, data, or information related to the Bee Organized business. This includes the System, Licensed Marks, Business Management System Data, and Operations Manual.
Furthermore, the franchisee must permanently cease using any methods, procedures, or techniques associated with the Bee Organized system in which Bee Organized possesses proprietary rights or that constitute their trade secrets. They must also stop using System Supplies, Approved Services and Products, and any other advertising, marketing, or media associated with Bee Organized. This ensures that the former franchisee does not unfairly compete with Bee Organized or other franchisees after the transfer.
In addition to ceasing use, the franchisee is required to return to Bee Organized the Operations Manual, Confidential Information (including Business Management System Data and client lists), and all other confidential materials, equipment, software, information, and property owned by Bee Organized. The franchisee may retain copies of the Franchise Agreement and correspondence with Bee Organized, except for any Confidential Information contained within those documents. The franchisee must also cease accessing and disconnect from any digital media, intranets, cloud-based systems, or servers that store or provide access to the Operations Manual and Confidential Information. These measures are in place to protect Bee Organized's proprietary information and maintain the integrity of the franchise system.
