"Confidential Information" means all of our and/or our affiliates' trade secrets, methods, standards, techniques, procedures, data and information, as same may exist as of the Effective Date of the Franchise Agreement and as same may be developed, modified and supplemented in the future, constituting and comprising: (a) methods, specifications, standards, policies, procedures, information, concepts, programs and systems relating to the development, establishment, marketing, promotion and operation of Bee Organized Businesses; (b) information concerning consumer preferences for services, products, materials and supplies used or sold by, and specifications for and knowledge of suppliers of certain materials, equipment, products, supplies and procedures used or sold by Bee Organized Businesses; (c) information concerning clients, client lists, email lists, database lists, product sales, operating results, financial performance and other financial data of Bee Organized Businesses; (d) client lists and information related to Bee Organized Businesses and the Franchised Business; (e) Business Management System Data; (f) current and future information contained in the Operations Manual; and (g) Know-How.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the definition of 'Confidential Information' does include knowledge of suppliers. Specifically, the FDD states that confidential information includes data and information constituting and comprising information concerning consumer preferences for services, products, materials and supplies used or sold by Bee Organized Businesses, and specifications for and knowledge of suppliers of certain materials, equipment, products, supplies and procedures used or sold by Bee Organized Businesses. This means that the franchisor considers information about who supplies the materials, equipment, and products used in the Bee Organized business to be confidential.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that you are obligated to keep information about Bee Organized's suppliers confidential. You cannot share this information with unauthorized parties, including competitors. This obligation extends not only to the specific suppliers Bee Organized uses but also to the specifications of the materials, equipment, and products they supply.
