What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the definition of 'Administrative Offices' does allow for a home-based office under certain conditions. The document states that an Administrative Office can be a home-based office if permitted by law, or a non-retail, non-public back-end office for managing the franchise's operations. This includes facilities for storing inventory and supplies, parking vehicles, and staging on-site client service visits.

Specifically, the FDD indicates that if local laws and regulations allow, a franchisee may designate their personal residence as the Administrative Office. However, this is contingent on the franchisee independently verifying that such use is permitted under local zoning laws. If operating from a home office is not permissible, the franchisee must secure a commercial location within their operating territory for the Administrative Office.

Bee Organized requires written approval of the Administrative Office location, and it must not be accessible to the public or clients. The franchisee must identify and evaluate the location, ensure it complies with the franchise agreement and meets Bee Organized's standards. The franchisee has 60 days from the effective date of the agreement to secure the approved Administrative Office location, as evidenced by a binding lease for the full term of the agreement.
