What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a quorum for the Advertising Cooperative is defined as 25% of the franchisees within the cooperative. This means that for any formal vote or decision-making process within the cooperative, at least 25% of the franchisees in that specific advertising cooperative must be present to validate the vote. Each franchisee Bee Organized Business location gets one vote within their designated Advertising Cooperative area.
This requirement ensures that a reasonable portion of the members are actively involved in the cooperative's decisions. The decisions are based on a simple majority vote. This structure allows the Advertising Cooperative to function effectively while representing the interests of its members.
As a prospective franchisee, it's important to understand how the Advertising Cooperative operates, including the voting procedures and quorum requirements, as participation is mandatory if your Bee Organized Business is located within the geographic area of an Advertising Cooperative. Franchisees should also be aware that the franchisor, Bee Organized, has the right to establish foundational and organizational requirements for the Advertising Cooperative, including the voting provisions.
