What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Brand Development Fund fee is paid monthly and will be automatically debited from the franchisee's bank account via ACH or other means designated by Bee Organized. The fee is calculated as 2% of gross sales for annual gross sales up to $500,000, and 1% of gross sales for annual gross sales exceeding $500,000, with a maximum of $20,000 per year.
This automatic debiting system is a fairly common practice in franchising, designed to ensure timely payments and reduce administrative burdens for both the franchisee and Bee Organized. Franchisees must deposit their gross sales into designated bank accounts that are subject to Bee Organized's ACH authorization. They are also responsible for any service charges or fees imposed by their bank for these electronic debits.
It is important for prospective Bee Organized franchisees to understand that these fees are non-refundable and uniformly imposed on all franchisees. The franchisee must also install and use the pre-authorized payment, point of sale, credit card processing, automatic payment, automated banking, electronic debit, and/or electronic funds transfer systems that Bee Organized designates. This requirement ensures that Bee Organized can accurately track gross sales and facilitate the automatic fee deductions.
