What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bee Organized's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Administrative Office serves as the operational hub for the Bee Organized Business. It is defined as the fixed location from which the Bee Organized Business is established, operated, and managed. Franchisees are required to operate their Franchised Business from an Administrative Office that adheres to Bee Organized's standards and specifications, as detailed in the Operations Manual. The location of the Administrative Office necessitates written approval from Bee Organized.
Notably, the Administrative Office is not intended to be accessible to the public or clients. Subject to local laws and regulations, a franchisee may designate their personal residence as the Administrative Office, pending independent verification of compliance with zoning laws. Otherwise, the Administrative Office must be situated in a commercial location within the designated Operating Territory. Bee Organized may provide preliminary plans and specifications for setting up the Administrative Office, if applicable.
The franchisee is responsible for identifying and evaluating a location that meets Bee Organized's standards, securing it within 60 days of the Franchise Agreement's effective date, and ensuring it complies with all terms and conditions outlined in the agreement. This includes securing a binding lease for the full term of the agreement. The franchisee must also present the proposed Administrative Office to Bee Organized for approval in a timely manner.
In summary, the Administrative Office is primarily for the administrative and managerial functions of the Bee Organized franchise, with specific requirements for location, accessibility, and adherence to Bee Organized's standards. Franchisees have some flexibility in choosing the location, including the option of a home office if local regulations permit, but must always obtain franchisor approval.
