Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If your site is not already known and approved by us when you sign your franchisee agreement, then we will specify in your franchise agreement the Site Selection Area in which you must select a Site. Upon selection of an approved site, we will designate your Protected Territory based upon our then-current methods of territory determination set forth in the Manuals. (See Sections 4 and 10 of the Franchise Agreement).

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beauty Bungalows' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a site is not already known and approved when signing the franchise agreement, the Site Selection Area will be specified within the franchise agreement itself. This area is where the franchisee must then select a site for their Beauty Bungalows location.

This specification in the franchise agreement is important because it defines the geographic boundaries within which the franchisee is allowed to search for a suitable location. It ensures that the franchisee's search efforts are focused on areas deemed appropriate by Beauty Bungalows.

Once an approved site is selected within the Site Selection Area, Beauty Bungalows will then designate a Protected Territory based on their current methods of territory determination, as outlined in the manuals and referenced in Sections 4 and 10 of the Franchise Agreement. This Protected Territory grants the franchisee certain exclusive rights within that area.
