What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beauty Bungalows's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beauty Bungalows retains the right to mandate that franchisees use an electronic version of the operations manual. The manual contains the specifications franchisees must follow to establish and operate their franchised location. Beauty Bungalows may modify the manual from time to time and provide it in print or electronic format. Beauty Bungalows also reserves the right to require franchisees to access the manual via the internet or an intranet created and supported by them.

This policy allows Beauty Bungalows to ensure that all franchisees have access to the most up-to-date information and standards. By using an electronic format, Beauty Bungalows can quickly and efficiently distribute updates and changes to the manual, ensuring consistency across all franchise locations. This also reduces the risk of franchisees using outdated or incorrect information, which could negatively impact the brand's reputation and the quality of services offered.

For a prospective franchisee, this means they should be prepared to access and utilize the operations manual in an electronic format, potentially requiring a reliable internet connection. It is important for franchisees to stay informed about any updates or changes to the manual and to ensure that they and their staff are familiar with the latest procedures and guidelines. This requirement aligns with the common practice in franchising of maintaining standardized operations through a regularly updated manual.
