What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beauty Bungalows' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, an Area Developer must adhere to a specific development schedule to maintain exclusivity within their designated Development Area. The agreement stipulates that the minimum number of Beauty Bungalows businesses open and operating in the Development Area must not be less than what is required by the Development Schedule.
To maintain the exclusive rights to the Development Area, the Area Developer must open and operate Beauty Bungalows franchises according to the deadlines outlined in the Development Schedule. Missing these deadlines or failing to maintain the minimum number of operating businesses can jeopardize the exclusivity agreement.
This requirement ensures that Area Developers actively develop the territory and do not simply hold it without establishing Beauty Bungalows locations. The Development Schedule, which is included as Appendix A to the Area Development Agreement, specifies the number of businesses that must be open and operating by certain dates. Prospective Area Developers should carefully review the Development Schedule to understand the required pace of development and the potential consequences of failing to meet the specified milestones.
