What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beauty Bungalows's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a purchaser has the right to cancel the transaction. Specifically, the purchaser can cancel the transaction at any time prior to midnight of the fifth business day after signing the agreement. The FDD also states that a notice of cancellation is attached for an explanation of this right.
If the purchaser cancels the Beauty Bungalows agreement, any payments made under the agreement and any negotiable instrument will be returned within ten business days following the seller's receipt of the cancellation notice. Additionally, any security interest arising out of the transaction will be canceled.
The purchaser must make available to the seller at their business address all goods delivered under the agreement. Alternatively, the purchaser may comply with the seller's instructions regarding the return shipment of the goods at the seller's expense and risk. If the purchaser makes the goods available and the seller does not pick them up within 20 days of the cancellation notice, the purchaser may retain or dispose of them without further obligation. However, if the purchaser fails to make the goods available or fails to return them as agreed, they remain liable for all obligations under the agreement.
