What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beauty Bungalows' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are prohibited from copying or reproducing any confidential information related to the franchise. The FDD specifies that franchisees must establish procedures to prevent unauthorized use of confidential information by any person.
Unauthorized use of the Beauty Bungalows' manual or system constitutes a breach of the franchise agreement. It also represents an infringement of the franchisor's proprietary rights, including trade secrets and copyrights. Franchisees are obligated to promptly report any unauthorized use of the manual or other confidential information to Beauty Bungalows.
This means a Beauty Bungalows franchisee must take proactive steps to safeguard the franchisor's confidential information. This includes implementing internal controls to prevent unauthorized access, use, or reproduction of the information. Failure to comply with these requirements could lead to legal action, termination of the franchise agreement, and financial penalties for the franchisee.
