Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We generally do not own your premises and lease it to you. (See Sections 1.1 and 3.1 of ADA.)

Upon your request, provide you advice about the negotiation of the lease or purchase of a location for your Beauty Bungalows Franchise, which will be leased or purchased by you from independent third parties.

We do not own premises that are then leased to you.

We are not acting as your direct representative or attorney in lease negotiations and our assistance in no way constitutes a representation or warranty with respect to the lease or purchase. (See Section 8.02 and 10.01 of the Franchise Agreement)

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beauty Bungalows' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beauty Bungalows generally does not own the premises and lease it to the franchisee. The FDD states that the franchisee is responsible for leasing or purchasing a location from independent third parties. Beauty Bungalows may provide advice about the negotiation of the lease or purchase of a location, but they are not acting as a direct representative or attorney in lease negotiations.

This means that prospective Beauty Bungalows franchisees will need to independently find and secure a location that meets the franchisor's standards. This involves negotiating lease terms or purchase agreements directly with landlords or property owners. Franchisees should factor in the time and costs associated with site selection and lease negotiation, as these are their sole responsibility.

Beauty Bungalows' role is limited to providing advice and pre-approved vendor information. The franchisee bears the risk of securing suitable premises and ensuring the lease terms are favorable. This arrangement is common in many franchise systems, where the franchisee takes on the responsibility of real estate acquisition while adhering to the franchisor's guidelines.
