this Agreement and an infringement of our proprietary rights, including trade secrets and copyrights. Franchisee must promptly report any unauthorized use of the Manual or other Confidential Information.
- 7.04 Manual. Franchisor will loan to Franchisee during the term of the franchise one (1) copy of Franchisor's confidential operating Manual, which may be in print, on an access code-protected company intranet or extranet, or through other media. Franchisee agrees to keep the Manual at its own risk and maintain and keep the Manual in good condition. Franchisor reserves the right to require Franchisee to use the Manual in only an electronic format. The Manual will at all times remain the property of Franchisor, and Franchisee must immediately return the Manual to Franchisor upon expiration, termination, or Transfer of this Agreement. Franchisor may periodically update and revise the Manual. Franchisee acknowledges that its entire knowledge of the operation of the System is and shall be derived from information disclosed to Franchisee by Franchisor and that certain of such information is Confidential Information of Franchisor. Franchisee shall maintain the absolute confidentiality of all such Trade Secrets during and after the term of this Agreement, and shall not use any such information in any other business or in any manner not specifically authorized or approved in writing by Franchisor.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beauty Bungalows' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beauty Bungalows will loan one copy of its confidential operating manual to the franchisee during the franchise term. This manual can be in print, on an access code-protected company intranet or extranet, or through other media.
The franchisee is responsible for keeping the manual in good condition and at their own risk. Beauty Bungalows retains the right to require the franchisee to use the manual in an electronic format only.
The manual remains the property of Beauty Bungalows at all times. Upon expiration, termination, or transfer of the franchise agreement, the franchisee must immediately return the manual to Beauty Bungalows. Beauty Bungalows may periodically update and revise the manual.
The franchisee's knowledge of the Beauty Bungalows system operation should come from the information Beauty Bungalows discloses, and certain information is confidential. The franchisee must maintain the absolute confidentiality of all trade secrets during and after the agreement term and not use any information in any other business unless specifically authorized by Beauty Bungalows.
