What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beauty Bungalows' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee with an Area Development Agreement must meet specific obligations tied to the Development Schedule. By each 'Opening Deadline,' the franchisee must have the specified number of Beauty Bungalows businesses open and operating.
Prior to opening additional franchised businesses in their Development Area, the franchisee must demonstrate sufficient financial and organizational capacity to develop, open, operate, and manage each additional location. Beauty Bungalows must reasonably judge that the franchisee has this capacity. The franchisee must also be in full compliance with all brand requirements at any existing Beauty Bungalows locations they operate.
Furthermore, the franchisee needs to be in compliance with the Area Development Agreement, any Franchise Agreement, or any other agreement they have entered into with Beauty Bungalows. Failure to meet these opening deadlines constitutes an 'Event of Default' under the Area Development Agreement, which could lead to termination of the agreement.
