- We may hold periodic regional or national conferences to discuss on-going changes in the industry, operational techniques, studio rental developments, training, bookkeeping, accounting, advertising programs and new service procedures. We may require you to attend these conferences at our then-current conference attendance fee, currently $500 per attendee. If we charge a conference fee, you will be required to pay the fee regardless of your attendance at the conference (See Item 6). You must pay all of the travel and living expenses for you and any other employees who attend. These conferences will be held at our corporate headquarters or at another location chosen by us. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beauty Bungalows' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the current conference attendance fee is $500 per attendee. Beauty Bungalows may hold periodic regional or national conferences to discuss industry changes, operational techniques, studio rental developments, training, bookkeeping, accounting, advertising programs, and new service procedures. Franchisees may be required to attend these conferences.
It's important to note that if Beauty Bungalows charges a conference fee, franchisees are required to pay the fee regardless of their attendance. In addition to the attendance fee, franchisees are responsible for covering all travel and living expenses for themselves and any employees who attend the conferences. The FDD estimates these travel and living expenses to be between $1,500 and $3,000.
Beauty Bungalows may also provide other trainings or conferences from time to time, and franchisees may be required to pay an Additional Training Conference fee for attending these additional trainings or conferences based upon the direct costs to Beauty Bungalows of retaining speakers and other direct expenses associated with the conference.
