What is the assumption for the low end of the travel and living expenses estimate for a Beauty Bungalows franchise?

Beauty_Bungalows Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Travel and Living Expenses to Training: We provide the initial training program tuition-free for up to three (3) of your representatives in an online format.

However, if you request and we agree to provide you training in person, you are required to pay the expenses that you will incur for travel, food, and lodging during the initial training program.

The costs you incur will vary depending upon factors such as distance traveled, mode of transportation, travel preferences (such as air travel or ground transportation), nature of accommodations, per diem expenses actually incurred, and the number of persons who attend training.

The low end of this estimate assumes your representatives will be attending initial training online and will not need to travel to attend training, while the high end assumes that a total of three (3) individuals will attend the initial training and will be required to purchase a flight to/from that training in order to attend.

The actual cost will depend on your point of origin, method of travel, class of accommodations, and dining choices.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beauty Bungalows's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the low end of the estimated travel and living expenses to training is based on the assumption that the franchisee's representatives will attend the initial training online. This means they will not need to travel to a physical location for training, thus incurring no travel, food, or lodging costs. The FDD indicates that Beauty Bungalows provides the initial training program tuition-free for up to three representatives in an online format.

For a prospective Beauty Bungalows franchisee, this detail is important for budgeting the initial investment. If the franchisee and their representatives can complete the training online, they can avoid the $3,000 high-end estimate for travel and living expenses. However, if in-person training is requested and agreed upon with Beauty Bungalows, these costs will need to be factored in.

The actual cost of travel and living expenses will depend on factors such as distance traveled, mode of transportation, travel preferences, nature of accommodations, per diem expenses, and the number of persons who attend training. The high end of the estimate assumes that a total of three individuals will attend the initial training and will be required to purchase a flight to/from that training in order to attend. Therefore, franchisees should discuss the training format options with Beauty Bungalows to understand the potential costs involved.
