What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beard Papas's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Site Selection Area does not constitute approval of any restaurant location. The Site Selection Acknowledgment designates a geographic area where, for a limited time, Beard Papas will not approve a new shop location for a third party. This period begins on the Site Selection Acknowledgment Date and expires 60 calendar days later.

The franchisee is responsible for selecting the site for their Beard Papas shop and must get written approval from Beard Papas for the location. The franchisee may use a commercial real estate broker to help find a location. Beard Papas does not have any obligation to help the franchisee find a location.

Before a franchisee can lease or purchase a location for a Beard Papas shop, Beard Papas must approve the site. Beard Papas may request information about the site, including accessibility, visibility, traffic flow, lease terms, and demographic information. The franchisee cannot enter into any lease or purchase agreement until Beard Papas approves the location.
