What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beard Papas's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Beard Papas has the authority to restrict or prohibit franchisees from using third-party delivery services and third-party online ordering services. Beard Papas's policies, procedures, requirements, and restrictions dictate the use of these services.
Beard Papas retains the right to control how franchisees engage with third-party delivery services. If Beard Papas grants a franchisee the right to use a third-party delivery or online ordering service, they may require the franchisee to do so through accounts and agreements controlled by Beard Papas. This allows Beard Papas to maintain oversight and standardization in how its franchises interact with customers through these platforms.
This policy is fairly common in franchising, as it allows franchisors to maintain quality control and brand consistency across all locations and sales channels. Prospective franchisees should discuss with Beard Papas what specific third-party delivery services are approved (if any), what the requirements are for using them, and what fees or costs may be associated with these services.
