What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beard Papas Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering all costs and expenses associated with travel to and attendance at the Annual System Conference. The Annual System Conference is a conference that may be established and organized by Beard Papas for the purpose of facilitating networking among Beard Papa's Shop franchisees, and general education.
Beard Papas determines whether or not an Annual System Conference will occur in any particular year, as well as the dates, content, and location of the conference. If held, the Annual System Conference will last for no more than three consecutive days per calendar year.
In addition to the franchisee being responsible for costs and expenses related to the Annual System Conference, the franchisee may also be required to pay an Annual Conference Attendance Fee to Beard Papas. This fee is determined by Beard Papas, but will not exceed $1,200 annually.
