Note 12: Insurance Deposits – Three Months – You are required to maintain certain insurance coverage. Your actual payments for insurance and the timing of those payments will be determined based on your agreement with your insurance company and agent. This estimate is for the cost of an initial deposit in order to obtain the minimum required insurance and we estimate this deposit to be equal to the amount of three months of monthly insurance premium payments. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beard Papas's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to maintain certain insurance coverage. The FDD recommends consulting with an insurance agent before signing the Franchise Agreement to understand the specific requirements and costs involved.

The FDD indicates that the estimated initial investment includes an allowance for insurance deposits, specifically an amount equal to three months of monthly insurance premium payments. This deposit is intended to cover the cost of obtaining the minimum required insurance coverage. However, the actual payments and timing will depend on the agreement between the franchisee and their insurance company.

Prospective Beard Papas franchisees should carefully review the insurance requirements outlined in the Franchise Agreement and consult with an insurance professional to determine the appropriate coverage levels and associated costs. Understanding these obligations is crucial for budgeting and managing the financial aspects of the franchise.
