What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beard Papas's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must obtain pre-approval from Beard Papas for all local marketing initiatives. The FDD states that franchisees are not authorized to engage in any marketing unless it is pre-approved by Beard Papas, giving Beard Papas full discretion over marketing efforts.
This requirement extends to all advertising, marketing materials, and marketing mediums used to promote the shop. Franchisees may only use advertising and marketing materials that Beard Papas designates and approves in writing. Beard Papas may provide approved marketing templates, including pre-approved ads, ad copy, and digital media, for franchisees to use.
Furthermore, all digital media and marketing must be approved by Beard Papas. This includes content for the Beard Papas website or other websites designated for the system. This ensures that all marketing efforts align with the brand's standards and specifications, maintaining consistency across all franchise locations.
