What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beard Papas's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must have their marketing materials approved by Beard Papas before use. This includes ensuring that all marketing materials comply with Beard Papas's standards and specifications. Franchisees are permitted to market their shop through approved digital media and social media platforms, provided they adhere to Beard Papas's digital media and social media policies.
Beard Papas also requires that all branded marketing materials be purchased either directly from them or from their designated exclusive supplier. Furthermore, Beard Papas may require franchisees to exclusively use their designated supplier for social and digital media marketing services and social media platforms, vendors, and marketing channels, all at the franchisee's cost.
This level of control over marketing materials is common in franchising, as it allows Beard Papas to maintain brand consistency and quality across all locations. Prospective franchisees should factor in these requirements when budgeting for marketing expenses, as they may be limited in their choice of suppliers and marketing strategies. It is important to understand the specific standards, specifications, and policies related to marketing to ensure compliance and avoid potential penalties.
