local marketing programs and notify you if we approve same. We will make available to you and provide you with access, in the form of a source document, to our approved marketing campaigns, media, and messaging that may be used by you. In those instances where we provide you with access to our marketing campaigns, we provide you with the source designs, copy, and design specifications. However, you will incur the direct costs associated with customizing, duplicating and using such marketing campaigns and in having them printed, distributed and/or placed with media sources. - Digital Media and Website All digital media and marketing must be approved by us. We will designate for your Designated Territory information about your Shop on the www.beardpapas.com webpage or such other websites as we may designate for the System. (Franchise Agreement, Article 9);

- Brand Development Fund We may control and administer a brand development fund (the "Brand Development Fund") (Franchise Agreement, Article 9.A.). As disclosed in Item 6 of this Disclosure Document, you must contribute a monthly sum not to exceed 2% of monthly Gross Sales to the Brand Development Fund.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Beard Papas Franchise Disclosure Document, Beard Papas will make available and provide access to approved marketing campaigns, media, and messaging that franchisees may use. These are provided in the form of a source document. The franchisor will provide the source designs, copy, and design specifications for these marketing campaigns. However, the franchisee will bear the direct costs of customizing, duplicating, printing, distributing, and placing these marketing campaigns with media sources.
All advertising, marketing materials, and mediums used by a Beard Papas franchisee must be pre-approved in writing by Beard Papas and conform to their standards. Franchisees may only use advertising and marketing materials that Beard Papas designates and approves in writing. Beard Papas may also make available approved marketing templates comprised of pre-approved ads, ad copy, and digital media for franchisees to use.
All digital media and marketing must be approved by Beard Papas. Beard Papas will designate information about the franchisee's shop on the www.beardpapas.com webpage or other websites designated for the system. Beard Papas maintains full discretion over the marketing standards, materials, and media used in the marketing and promotion of the franchised business. Franchisees are not authorized to engage in any marketing unless it is pre-approved by Beard Papas.
